Software Plug-Ins

eRide offers a number of optional Software Plug-Ins, which add increased functionality and capability to the standard Navigation Software. These Software Plug-Ins are easily incorporated into the Client Application software and are available through your eRide Sales and Distribution representative.

The OPUS A-GPS Software Plug-In adds the Assisted GPS functionality for improving GPS satellite signal acquisition and tracking as well as Time To First Fix (TTFF) and overall positioning accuracy with a quick and simple connection to an A-GPS Server. See the full description of A-GPS here.

OPUS LTSM (Long Term Satellite Model) allows the platform to download and store a Long Term Satellite Model (user selectable for from one to seven days) with a simple and quick connection to an A-GPS Server. These models provide the GPS receiver with additional data reducing the search and acquisition time and improving the TTFF.

OPUS Dead Reckoning allows the GPS receiver and Navigation Software to work in conjunction with additional sensors to maintain position and velocity outputs during periods of complete GPS signal satellite blockage.
